Arena 2v2 / 3v3 / 5v5 - Rogue + ???

Hi! I haven't really pvp'ed since the TBC era, so I have no idea about current setups, was hoping you could enlighten me though.
I'm lvling a rogue solely for pvp'ing purposes, have heard Sub is pretty strong right now. what kind of setups would you recommend for a rogue? I wouldn't mind rolling something else than Sub, but please do motivate why you think the way you do, don't just say: "X + Y + Z". What I've heard a combat rogue can suck hard, but with a cleave team he can be very strong, if you understand what I'm getting at with the whole "explain please"?

2v2 - Rogue/Mage. Lots of resets and great CC with good burst.
Rogue/Priest. Best healer/dps group for rogues.

3v3 - RMP is always going to be strong. Great synergy between those classes.
RLS is another. Watch some vids to see it.

5v5 - Anything works really, more about the players than the team comp.

Rogues work really well with many setups.

In 2s, Mage/Rogue are the more succesful setup.
Followed by Rogue/Priest
Rogues do fairly well with the majority of double dps setups, due to their vast array of utility.

In 3s
1. RMP
2. RLS
i wouldn't be suprised if RLS will fall behind again due to the (hopefully soon) changes to the synergy between locks and shamans.

5s doesn't really matter that much. Theres alot of leverage for different classes

Rogue works pretty well in 2s with many setups - if you're looking for a dps/dps comb (which I would recommend cause 2s is broken right now), due to their smoke bomb and burst.

In 3s you should go RMP og RLS. Imo RMP is (and has always been) good - and they will continue to do well, due to the synergy between those classes.
RLS is good right now, but there is a chance that it wont be later on.

In 5s you can go whatever you feel like. 2 healers and 3 dps. Rogue,Feral,Mage + Disc,Hpal or resto sham for example.

I would recommend you to go to arenajunkies to look for viable combs and strategy's.

2s: Rogue mage and Rogue priest, be aware that rogue disc priest is boring due to long games.

3s: RMP,RLS and Rogue/death knight/healer.

5s: Anything aslong as you have some viable classes.

Im just curious why most ppl dont just look at 2's 3's etc on the wow armory? i mean a simple few clicks answers almost all of the silly questions ya?

Some people are nice and actually like to answer questions, regardless of how easy it is to find the answer. Not to mention that the community will provide a much more detailed and better response than what you'll find from randomly looking up 2s and 3s comps.

2v2 - Rogue/Warlock, Priest (Shadow or Disc), Mage. I had fun playing Rogue/Hunter in S4, but yeah, that was S4.
3v3 - RMP or RLS.

5v5: RRMMP, RMMPP. Anything with a few R's, M's and P's works. Or throw in a Shaman healer and a Warlock somewhere.
