Threat problems no more = Searing Pain usable in PvE?

Hello dear warlocks!
I am ofc well aware that destruction is not a very used spec in endgame PvE at the moment but I was just wondering about whether or not it would
be worth picking up the improved searing pain talent and use this ability at sub-25%?

Searing Pain was never used as an execute, not because of threat, but because it sucked. It worked as a filler on live for about 6 hours after they buffed it through the roof on PTR and failed to spot how retarded it was when they came to implement it.

The time searing pain was viable in pve is already gone.
Even without the threatbuff, tanks could handle it with ease since the dps it granted was just low.

It had but not anymore, on a aff spec the damage it does its lower than Felflame, and Felflame alone its instant and adds seconds to UA/Immo. Feflame obviously wins.

Or change it to "Sear Mana" which would basically be the same spell just that it burns away mana as well, Drain Mana was way too overpowered.
