Smouldering Essences

Hey guys,

I'm sure people already have tried this but I haven't and I don't know anyone who has so I ask this: When two people are on the smouldering essence quest for the legendary staff, can they both drain a dead boss for the essences? Or can only 1 guy do it and then the boss is "empty" ?

I would imagine that only 1 can do it, but who knows? Usually quest mobs can be looted by multiple people and in this case a dead boss is nothing different from a "quest mob" ;p
