So I am sure I read somewhere on MMO Champ that this new Deathwing raid will have unique new models and absolutely no rehashed lore.
On the lore front sure, no lore has been rehashed and I'm happy about it. Fresh new bosses to fight.
But about the models, those posted on http://www.mmo-champion.com/content/...ew-Dragon-Soul are just placeholders or the actual models? Because so far we have:
General Vezax from Ulduar ( http://media.mmo-champion.com/images...tember/ds1.jpg )
A lame old faceless one ( http://media.mmo-champion.com/images...tember/ds2.jpg )
Sparkling Theralion ( http://media.mmo-champion.com/images...tember/ds3.jpg )
And a random armored twilight dragon ( http://media.mmo-champion.com/images...tember/ds3.jpg )
My expectations for 4.3 are REALLY up but they would REALLY go down if those were the models, since they have been used tons of times.

Care pointing me to where you read this "unique new models" bit? Because I never read anything indicating that.

I don't know why they would release placeholder models in an official preview. My guess is these are the actual models.

Not a surprise on the re-used models really, Whatever the case is; I care for the gameplay and the mechanic's that it serves.

Disappointed by the recolored Erudax, but meh, they look okay to me. If you're playing WoW, get used to seeing rehashes once in a while.

they are reused models but in my opinion cool ones anyway, i bet the next bosses they reveal will be new otherwise they would be released already

Upon crashing into the Maelstrom for Phase 1 of the Deathwing encounter... players will get to see the ALL-NEW stolen bicycle models the Naga have hidden there. Also keep an eye out for Japanese schoolgirls near the Tentacle island where you fight Deathwing Phase 2.

I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure the new models they were talking about was armor and weapons etc

Sparkling Theralion seems to have some small detail changes: Cracks over the body and fire all over his back, prolly cause of the Netherwing thing. Theres also a boss we dont know the model of, aswell as Armorless Deathwing

Perhaps players need to use the stolen-naga bikes to avoid the zombie Japanese schoolgirls on Tentacle Island.
