So here's a fun thread, post your max cpu temps. We will then compare each others temps and give each other a rating of 1 to 5. May the best temps win.

well on my old cpu I ran without thermal paste and it went up to 70-75C in BC2 never had a problem with it... had AMD Athlon 64x2 4600+
My old laptop rose up to 90C+ in summertime under stress no matter what I tried, ended up burning the CPU.
Atm highest I've seen my temps go is 50C.
Got 104 degrees celcius with my old Pentium D 3.2ghz. It would start to downclock it to try and reduce it's temp.
Sometimes I hit 70C on my AMD A64x2 2.8G but that's when I start freaking out and opening windows, using duster (even if there isn't any), and turning fans on overdrive :P

hit 107°C once after i cleaned my computer and attached the cooler on wrong :P

Q6600 1.46V
3.6GHz
Idle - 20~23c
Load 46~50c
Cooler - CM 212 Hyper Plus
Approx 64C while running Prime 95. Currently running a AMD 1090T with a Cooler Master Hyper 212.
Unfortunately, just listing max temps means nothing. I can push 100% CPU load with Prime95 and get a different (lower) temperature than pushing 100% load with IntelBurnTest w/ AVX. For this thread to actually have merit, everyone would need to post their temps while using the same stress test software.
[edit: For me, I top out at about 73C in Prime95 and around 82C in IBT w/ AVX. Those are from memory, though, so they're bound to be close, but wrong.]
My i5-2500k @ 4.5ghz with an antec kuhler h20 (forget which one) caps out around 69c with prime95 or when encoding movies.

How do I figure out my max temp?
