In an effort to condense the sheer volume of "zomg what trinket do I use" threads, Swizzle and I will keep an eye here for questions.

Fire & Frost:

416 Will of Unbinding > 403 Will of Unbinding > 410 Insignia > 410 Cunning > 397 Insignia > 397 VPLC> 390 Will of Unbinding > 397 Cunning > 391 Necromantic Focus > 384 Insignia > 384 Cunning > 384 VPLC > 359 DMC:V > 378 NMF > 378 Foul Gift of the Demon Lord

Arcane:

** Note: I've removed most 359/372 trinkets off the list as there's now easily obtainable trinkets that are superior **

Aside from this, ask any specific questions as to what is better for you.

Fairly certain H VPLC is better than SoW now given recent changes, saw it somewhere atleast. But I guess thats irrevelant considering they are 1st and 2nd

Maybe, but again I just remember seeing it somewhere, dont have access to my home pc for rawr/simc etc at the moment so I'd check it before you do incase, Nice to see a thread like this by the way since we're getting clogged by trinket questions it seems

Heroic VPLC is infact technically better at the BiS level - you were right, I just put SOW first out of habbit when I tossed a couple updates into the Compendium.

Replace SoW with H NMF and the list is the same for Fire and Frost.

Taken from Mage Compendium (for those who didn't read it):

There is no "Mage Compendium." If you mean the Arcane Compendium, then you should probably edit the OP to say that so Fire/Frost players don't get the wrong idea (especially since there's no Fire sticky), and maybe just post three separate lists of what's better for who so the questions are at a minimum.

I'm a more casual player than some so don't have access to BiS necessarily so advice from what I have available is appreciated.
I'm fire. With current progression I have access to VPLC & Necromantic Focus, but haven't gotten either yet (!)
Until then, I have DMC:V, Rune of Zeth, Heroic Bell, Alchemist Stone.. or Mithril Stopwatch.
I'm also an engineer, if this devalues ROZ somewhat.

Your best choice would be to go with DMC:V and Rune of Zeth untill you get the 2 above mentioned trinkets. Rune of Zeth is good for it's passive crit but also because of the 1 min. on use intellect. That's a pretty nice boost and you should use it on CD, ofc, always with Combustion.

I wonder if hc TM is that better than mwc, because TM hardly ever procs when needed and mwc can be really well lined up with combustiions.

It is, but only slightly... due to the raw int.

Alysrazor is a seperate list, DMC:V and MWC are best for huge combustions on burnouts. But standard fire H:TM > MWC

Rawr doesn't work on my pc somehow, so can anyone tell me if for Arcane Mages:

Do I prefer the Rune of Zeth (reforge crit to Mastery + with the nice 1 minute cd Int+1277 on it) or stick with my Theralion's Mirror (normal)?

Neither are really a great option, your mirror is 321 passive int, ROZ is 319.25 passive int... TBH, it'd be situational on alot of fights. I'll run a couple sims when I get home.

Would NMF proc enough to be useful for frost? Only dot is FFB and its uptime is fairly low

Yes and no... The raw int alone is godly and the proc is nice, but the uptime itself won't be max'd as any other class/spec with DoT's would be. As such it's situational as to if it's worth using over any other trinket.

o.O Que? Start your pulls with a hard cast FFB and you'll have 100% uptime if you'e under 4-piece T12. The trinket models at 95%+ uptime in SimCraft for Frost, so it's pretty nifty.

All three give Int, the Alchemy one just gives the least.
