    Monitor Size

Just curious what size monitors people run with/like? At work I have a 2 X 22in set up which works nicely, but shopping around for my future build I was looking in stores and from the store 22 inch seemed... small. I was leaning towards 24 or 27 inch in the store, but after spending some more time with my 17in laptop and at work with the 2 22 inches, I am going back and forth between larger monitors, or cheaper monitors. Just wondering what's common for gamers here. I definitely want to do 2 monitors, just aren't sure about the size.

I run 2X23. My sweet spot for monitors.

I use a 24 inch. However, I've found that playing games is generally easier on a smaller screen.

I have a 22 main monitor with a 19 inch secondary. My Xbox 360 sits underneath the 19 which makes the monitors equal in height. I rather like it.

28" main screen 24" second screen, it doubles as a tv though.

I couldn't even imagine 40+ O_O I would have to be half a room away...

I also will be working from home, so doing computer programming as well as gaming. Couldn't imagine using a 40 inch monitor for anything other than gaming.

Currently using a 19" screen though If I could afford it I'd probably get 2x21" or larger assuming my desk had room for two of them.

Use a 22" primary with 19" secondary but would like to get a 24" and then have the 22 as the secondary.

I just use a single 23" right now. If I wanted to bump up my rig to dual monitors, I'd have to first take everything out of my current desk and get it the hell out of the room before getting the new one inside.

Just a single 23 here too... I think It's enough, couldn't ask for more or less. It's just what I need. Using 2 would be pretty bad on the eyes, since I use my PC a lot...

24', works so damn great for me. my previous monitor was 19' 16:10 LG, which was good but a little too small. 2 weeks ago i've bought iiyama 24', playing on full hd, and game has never looked so nicely before.

I play on 3 x42" monitors in eyefinity, thinking of going bigger though.

Monitors ALWAYS look smaller in the store up on the wall than when you get them home up on your desk.

I'd recommend a 24 inch. Can get them reasonably priced easily under 200$ and it'll be plenty big enough. A 27 inch is just gunna cost almost twice as much and you'll still only get the 1920x1080 resolution anyways (unless of course you spend an obscene amount for a 2560x1440 resolution or whatever it is).
