My Little Pony - Friendship is Magic (part 2)

So as anyone that knows me well knows, I have a lot of patience, like endless sands of patience and understanding for the most part. But tonight just flipped my table into low orbit; so me and Em are just doing some random dungeons, trying to get her VP for her feral set -with me healing, god forbid- and we get queued into a random Vortex Pinnacle. My first thoughts are “Oh this should be easy.” Because even with the tank in healing blues I have no trouble keeping anything alive through just about anything.

But oh lord was I wrong here, our very first pull aggro is everywhere, I’m not only bombing heals on the tank, I’m treeform tanking the casters, while CC’ing the free melee guy. After slowly trudging our way through the trash to the first boss, I figure I’ve seen all the bad that this group could throw at me. There goes strike number two for the “Ram has too much faith in humanity” charts, not only is Em the only one pulling reasonable numbers for her gear, she’s the only one that knows that tornadoes are, and what to do when approached by one, that is to say move the fuck away.

So skip about ten minutes further, we speed through the trash up to the second boss and I’ve got some hope because it goes down ‘fast’ enough -thank god no mount drop, the dk would have won it- but here’s when it gets really rough. We round our way up to the first pack of adds in the triangle force field, and I kid you not not even five seconds after we pull, the tank is off that edge. I should have stopped healing and left on the spot, but oh no. Ramified does not go down without a goddamned fight. So we spent a good five minutes running in circles with me healing the retarded death knight as he tried to tank those mobs, the mage that broke my cc, and Emily who I think had already given up until the tank got back, got thrown off the edge again. He then promptly logged off mid trash pull and everyone left the party, leaving me with some angry adds.

So that’s it, I’m done with this shit. Fuck you randoms in my VP, you have broken the unstoppable spirit that once was Ramified.

So the moral of the story is: never take a random cataclysm heroic dungeon queue. No matter what, it’s always going to be a trap. ALWAYS.

That's one of the primary reasons I quit WoW a year ago. I found myself getting too frustrated with the flaws of the game and the community to actually be enjoying it. And with that said, I really been avoiding ANYTHING that involves online community interaction, because the online community is just braindead.

There was only one mob to fight, and he was at the end through that door, and he was nearly see-through, and you fought him in a room full of blue smoke. It was a rather creepy dungeon, but those little guys were just so adorable!

Okay, I was paying the electric bill. Gotta keep the computer running somehow! Seriously going to bed. G'night!
