Sad thing is, nowadays non-jerks are few and far between, and are generally thought of as being selfish and whatnot, which either drives them away or turns them into actual jerks. Plus, most non-jerks are already taken (in more than one way), so they generally already have people that they can spend their time with.

Sad thing is, nowadays non-jerks are few and far between, and are generally thought of as being selfish and whatnot, which either drives them away or turns them into actual jerks. Plus, most non-jerks are already taken (in more than one way), so they generally already have people that they can spend their time with.

I think it depends on the environment. I am in one of the best high schools in Serbia and 90% of the school are normal guys like you and me. Even though we have different interest none of them are jerks.
