It's an interesting thought, but seems kind of far fetched. And there were adults in the show. I remember seeing a few arms, a silhouette, and maybe a voice or two. And there was also eddy's brother.

This one is much more believable methinks.

Eh, the Rugrats one doesn't work. The parents are too involved with the babies for it to be all in her mind. :/

The pokemon one on the other hand. That one is very well thought out. Much more difficult to doubt.

Friend zone is not a fun place to be... I imagine. I don't think I'd technically count any type of relationships I've ever had with a girl as anything really beyond the "acquaintance zone" :P

Well, they aren't suffering. They exist in Ash's mind personifying aspects of himself. They don't exist. Or they do exist and are people Ash knew or knew of and reflected them into his coma state.
