You could indeed. I got rank 3 as paladin(ROFL)/warrior because my warrior had Stunherald. He was an amazing player and I was already pretty decent myself but still, it's saying a lot. I knew a LOT (still do) warlocks/druids who clicked their way to rank 1, they're good players now but they're mature enough to admit they were shit and carried by class/comp back then.

And I wholeheartedly agree - WotLK was great asides S5, S7 was probably the most balance season thus far, Cataclysm so far has been shit BUT I think this season is "okay" far as actual balance goes. Thing is, it doesn't show because NO ONE PLAYS due to how hard Blizzard fucked up not resetting ladders after the MMR fix (which was more than welcome).

Yeah S6/7 were the best seasons. For me the main reason I quit Cata and PvP altogether was I just hated the direction they went with warriors. Colossus smash was the dumbest fucking thing they added to the game, only introduced more problems and nerfs to the wrong things. And ofc made the class a god damn joke. I saw so many awful warriors popping up in Cata getting 2.2k in shit cleaves like it was nothing because they could pop reck and CS. Such a fucking joke when I can 1v2 said warriors because they don't know how to stance dance or use a fucking shield.
