I love my mage and have a high respect for our red-headed little step-child counterparts as well... Ok, maybe not the best way to open here
Anyway, do locks fight and bicker over specs as much as mages do?
I swear its like a religion over on the mage forum- Muslims v. Christians v. Bhudists FIGHT!
Getting tired of it personally. Even topics that have nothing to do with specs and up with some scrub/troll bringing up the topic.
Our locks will switch specs multiple times each raid and make the most out of each. I'm assuming this is because lock specs are better balanced?
Fight/bicker much around here?

edit: and on specs, Destro is weak, Demo is cd reliant and primarily aoe, affliction is in a good place single target. imo

Back when my guild was still raiding hardcore, I actually did notice that practically none of the mages got along. They never fought about specs between each other, but sometimes I thought it was a plain miracle when the mages finally decided amongst themselves who would give Focus Magic to who. Except for one particular, hyperactive, legally deaf Warlock I've played with in my career, most Warlocks I come across rarely speak and just sit down and dominate the charts.

And it's a damn shame too. I was looking at raidbots the other day and saw that Destruction was actually rated BELOW Frost Mages! They started the expansion pretty strong. In fact, it was the top DPS warlock spec initially. And it's so weak now, after all the work they did to make it so much more fun than it used to be! Originally Posted by Licarius

Oh where to begin. It takes more skill to play a lock (anywhere from 8-10 different buttons in a normal fight) than a mage (what is it 3 for arcane?). Blizzard nerfs us cause they know the lock community will find a way to make up for whatever they throw at us. Mages never get nerfed because all Blizzard would get is whining and they don't want to pay the CMs on the forums overtime to handle all the complaints.
Locks don't have to spend more than a gcd to get their mana back. Last I checked that equals the best mana regen in the game.
Our felhunter brings a similar buff to arcane brilliance and demonic pact is a better buff.
Ok mini-rant over. Expecting Penguin to lock this soon.

My intention was not to start a flame war between classes. So my bad there.
Honestly, was just curious about locks more and if you guys pretend to get along in raids but then come and flame each other on the forums like mages do... Just gets really old.
Just pokin around a little.
Really though, enough class flaming guys...

i go Destro. out dps ALL mages all the time.
ooo, yeah, we suck mana hard, cos we have that many spells, plus we can also lifetap back to full mana - whenever we like.

Yea any time you compare or even say lock and mage around a lock or mage its an epeen contest.Im not gonna jump on the flame band wagon. I get along with most locks i meet and the forums are normally a somewhat nice and helpfull place but there are more bitchy people in these forums than i can count. So they gonna wiggle their way in to every crack and crevace and QQ and bitch and moan and fight and bicker about anything they can.
