Whats your favorite and why?

It's fine if you prefer one game over the others guys, but the question remains "What is your favourite and why?", not "Why do you think the game you like is superior to the others?". LoL. I just never had as much fun playing HoN and I like the graphical style in Lol + customizing masteries/runes. Never played the original Dota, but Dota 2 seems nice.

eh i cant really say for certain till i try Dota 2, between LoL and HoN though i prefer LoL. i started with HoN i had been playing it since beta but ever since it went f2p it kinda became crap, new hero skins cost a ton more compared to what they used to and early release is kind of a crappy idea.

dont get me wrong i have some stuff i like about HoN more than LoL such as the announcer packs and how some skins change the char voice and stuff. the guides in the game also help new people learn heroes a tad faster, and most heroes arent too complicated (which can also be a bad thing).

over all i kinda like both for their own reasons so until Dota 2 hits ii wont make an absolute choice.

Esier to learn, graphic style, F2P since the start, always getting updated, love some champion playstyle.
HoN i tried a few times but is more "dark" don't have that much fun with it...

It's called "DotA" or "Dota 2" not DoTa...

lOl and hOn are fine but I have been playing DotA for 5 years and I am just too used to it I guess.
I played HoN beta and enjoyed it but after 1-2 months I got bored and switched back to DotA... I don't get bored of DotA and I enjoy playing and watching DotA games more than LoL or HoN (or SC2 or WoW)

The problwem with HoN - it's hard to master, when LoL is way more casual and easier which makes it more enjoyable for newcomers.
I would still pick LoL, cause all my mates are playing it even If I prefer HoN a bit more.

I have played all, and LoL is by far the best in my opinion. High-rank games and tournament play is much more complex than others, despite what DotA and HoN players think.

Of course LoL is going to win a popularity contest right now... it has the biggest casual player base.

HoN has a small but really nerdy player base.

Dota is the original and still the best game of this genre imo, only limited by the warcraft 3 engine. Cannot wait for Dota 2!

Honestly? LoL is bad. It's very bad. It's as bad as it can get.
Terrible player community (maybe I just randomed those, who knows), silly graphics and very, very large Polish playerbase (that basically cuts down any multiplayer game for me, I hate playing with my own comrades).

DotA on the other hand is classic, it bases on mechanics I already know, and also I've been playing it for few years now. Who cares graphics are not "fresh" or "cool". I haven't seen many baddies in my DotA games, while in LoL I've encountered them everywhere.

Also, I don't know if you'd count Bloodline champions into comparision, but I think i lack this game.

LoL seems pretty much to me like "amg u nab ur no pro so gtfo" pretty much, don't know why, that was my first impression of the game, and from that time i swore that I'll never install that game on my PC, and I'm definitely going to keep that promise.

Agree with the LoL community part. I'm fine with noobs, but assholes are really annoying and there's alot of them in LoL. Though from what I remember it was similar with HoN when I played.
