"Blue screen" doesn't tell us anything. What does the blue screen say?

Install the motherboard drivers from the disk that is provided. Install each driver one at a time rather than using the install all feature. Restart after each driver install. By doing this you will see which driver specifically is at fault.

Was it a Motherboard Firmware update or windows drivers?

General driver error. You are still going to need install each driver one at a time to narrow it down. Be the simplest way.

Every disk lets you install the drivers one at a time, you're just missing a setting or selection during the process.

so every time i insert the disc i press auto play then yes to let i modify my settings then the program loads and starts auto installing everything behind the installer i can see the option to install individually but it doesnt give me the choice prior

Here is the website for your motherboard. Download the latest drivers from there and try to install them. I suggest never using the CD that came with the board, as it's almost always out of date (with the noted exception of loading a NIC driver so you can get online).
