Who gives a damn if it's tradable? It's gonna go for 5k max if people start to "flood" AH with them. If it was cheaper than $5 I'd undestand the complaining...

It's no different than if player A decided to give player B 20k for no reason. That doesn't hurt the economy what-so-ever.

Isn't $10 a little excessive for a single use pet? The others apply to all characters, include future ones, right?

Well its a way to "buy" gold even if the ratio will be bad compared to gold sellers, its a legal way to do so without any risk of getting the account banned and if people are ok with that, it wont be so long till the next level, they always do it in small steps to check out the acceptance and only stop if the mass protest.

This has happned due to the muppets that keep buying fail mounts and pets from the store. A fool and his money are soon parted.

The thing that bothers me is not so much the BoE element, this I already knew was coming. But rather the whole "you only get one pet for $10" unlike current pets which are all characters on a Battle.NET account. Oh well enjoy being rich Blizzard, oh wait.

For those who don't see what the big deal is, they are selling a single use BOE pet for exactly the same price as all the other BOA pets. 10 dollars for a single use pet versus 10 dollars for a pet on every character you have, forever. People are annoyed, and rightly so.

You're upset over a pet...a non-combat pet that you could get through either Gold or money...that you don't NEED to have on your character to improve him in any way, shape or form.

Quitting over something optional that doesn't have any impact on you is probably the dumbest thing I've heard. Don't want it? Don't freakin buy it.

What the... How... Why would they... For Frak's sake, just use your time and money to design more raids and bosses, more quests, new zones, new races and classes, I don't know ! I swear, I just don't get who in the world is in charge over there anymore...

But you don't see them in the AH. Because people don't want them.

I think im gonna ignore this site for a bit. The blues seem completely aware of a potential gold problem and said they would see where it goes. This isnt gonna change anything so I think that maybe if I go back to playing I wont feel as stressed out. And actually have some fun. This really isnt a big deal. Just another spike. (Tho I will need this for class/fun related stuff.) :P later anti-wow threads
