You probably could use something like Aura frames, and create containers to filter certain buff's that you want to track, then move the frame into your desired position.

Could pretty easily set something like those spell icons with PowerAuras

Theres a checkbox in ForteXorcist that removes "showing raid debuffs" and as for your other personal debuffs you dont want show, just type them into the input window and select hide.

check out "debuff/buff trackers". Most of them have "current target only" options. With a bit of option tweaking you could also get DoTimer to display like that (just icons, horizontal). Satrina Buff Frames are nice, but i stopped using them. They were very good and had a display like that. Since SBF has no current maintainer, Raven is known as the successor.

If you are more about timing buttons, there is a action bar replacement/addition called "ButtonTimers".

    Try Weak Auras. http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/weakauras
If you are going to try and install it, look in the 'new' tab, choose 'Icon' there, you will need to enter name of the spell (Aura name), then you can add some timers to that icon too and place it anywhere you want to. Thats what im using myself as a shadow priest.
