"Fix my DPS" - Log analyzes and general help *READ OP FIRST*

One DC/BF in a 4:45 fight, should have had 3, reck used at beginning instead of execute phase, no potion or prepot, overwrote 4pct13 proc 2 times with manual cs, only used heroic leap 3 times out of a total possible of 5, doesnt appear to be using heroic leap during CS either, slam usage was low.

I'll just use this as a basis for my post.
DC/BF was used twice, it just only shows once because the logger was phased out when the second set was used, still missing one use over the fight though. The same applies to the potions. A pre-pot was used but it never shows in the buff frames unless a second potion is used AND the logger is not phased out when the use of the second pot occurs. The logger was phased out here. Two pots were used during the fight.

This is why I really prefer it when people log themselves instead of relying on others to do it.

The reck falls a bit outside the use of the pre-pot, try using DC earlier if you go for an early reck so you can fit the reck in. This is in addition to what Grumash said about saving it for the Execute phase.

MS/OP use looks good. Slam does indeed look low. (P.S. you were really not lucky with crits in this parse!)
To confirm what Grumash said about HL. Only one Heroic Leap was used when CS was on the target, save it until CS is there.

You'll have to excuse me, I've been really sick so I've not really had time to do an analysis until now.
Your gearing seems to be in order. For your spec I'd consider picking up Field Dressing to help out the healing,
Blitz and War Drums are not particularly useful talents, at least not in DS.

MS is not used enough. OP looks good. You're not using your globals good enough.
You just have to learn to spam the ability keys more so they get used faster.
You are using Heroic Leap at least once, try to do it more than that!

You overwrote your 4t13 proc no less than 4 times. If you don't have an addon
that monitors the CS debuff you should get one, if you have one you need to pay
more attention to it.

You only used your Berserker Rage 3 times during the fight. It's free rage so it should (almost)
be used on cooldown.

You should use your first Deadly Calm ealier (inside the duration of the pre-pot) and you should
have saved the second DC and Reck until the point where you used your second potion.

Hello i'm an arms warrior "LASKMI" I'm having some sort of strange issue wich is: When i'm dpsing normally all melee stands on the boss back, but i noticed something weird, when i stand in the back but near the left leg i'm getting high tons of dmg crits, then i moved and didnt did it again, tested it several times on hagara, yoh, zon, and LFR randomly, and yeah when i stand near the left leg i get high dmg crits but if i stand on the right side or straight in the back i dont. Prolly i'm just nubing or something but this never happend before, it has been happening since a week ago.

Sometimes i feel like i could do way more dps compared to my fellow raid mates, but its so annoying like in this fight, Zon'ozz normal mode 25 man, i know i could be ended on the first 3 spots but it didnt because of that issue i have, never before had that issue, it started like a week ago, or i'm doing something wrong with my rotation?? or gear wise. current ilvl 395 equip all gems epic

P.D. MS running at 70 both world home and fps at 60 with sync on and 200+ with out it, no lag of anything

Don't really understand the issue you described in the first paragraph.
Well the most obvious thing to me is your recklessness use. You just use it at a seemingly random time and especially on zon'ozz I'd make sure to have it ready towards the end with the pot and the heroism.

As fury with 2p you want to stack hit to 17%(even at the cost of crit) and then follow crit>mastery>haste(not sure about haste vs mastery).If that's what you meant.

i've reached 48k on Ultraxion Hm 25man last Wednesday..
obviously i want to do better! so i've used the Simulationcraft, to simulate how much i should to do in the "same" situation.. and it shows that I should to do about 52-53k with my current gear..
so i've compared the W.Log and the SimC. the only difference I've noticed is the different %proc of the Tentacle.. What do you say about the Log?

Hello and thank anyone in advance for any help they can provide!

I'm a tank first and foremost but since 4 of the fights are solo tanked I took the dps option as soon as it was presented to one of the tanks. I tend to do "decent" dps (IMO) for my gear but I would really love to start improving on cd usage etc and try and time things better. I will be the first to admit I'm still rather wet behind the ears when it comes to war dps but I have looked over the stickies and dps threads and now I think I need some more experienced dps wars to look at the parse and go "hey you are doing this wrong fix it!"

I would love to try and break the 60k mark on warlord fight consistently but I seem to bounce up and down on dps each week

I did 46 k 4 weeks ago, 61k 3 weeks ago 52k 2 weeks ago and This week 56k the changes form week to week make me lean towards I'm doing something wrong > just RNG.

Expectation: I am quite sure it should be possible for me to be hitting 45-46k dps at this point in gearlevel, and with our raids normal comp.
However I see myself jumping around 41-43k, not really improving much while getting more gear, my dps seems a bit stale at this point.

I haven't been playing arms for that long, I've always lolled around as fury, so I lost quite a bit of dps in the beginning, but after getting used to the specc I got quite comfortable with the rotation and lining up cds and everything - my dps is now higher than it was as fury, but I was hoping if anyone could help me see if I am missing out on some extra dps anywhere.

@Killme: spam more heroic strike(+ inner rage), is pretty low in this log imho
plus, use also heroic leap with a gcd when possible

I just wanted to say that I'll get to the posts that have been made the past few days, I've just been super busy lately.
2 weeks of serious sickness followed by preparing for the move to my new apartment (need to repaint everything, put in new floors and do general repairs to cracks in walls and shit, qq) has taken pretty much all of my time. Don't worry though, I'll get to it, I've just chosen to prioritize things that have quick answers and general moderation.

I'm an Arms warrior.

I created an MMO-Champion account at the advice of a friend who had great luck here with advice when they didn't know where else to ask. I included my character's armory in my profile because I cannot post links just yet. I have a WoL report also to help that I can supply if needed through PM.

I ran SimulationCraft and I'm coming up ~6k short. This is LFR unfortunately also. I'm at a loss at the moment to what the issue is.

I just noticed in my WoL for that Ultraxion kill that my Gurthalak proc did not hit the boss once. I am having trouble finding data to figure out how much of that missing 6k that would make up over a 4:40 fight. Tried in game on a dummy to get an idea, but Skada isn't even picking it up either.

Hello Nightstrike, welcome to the best thread in the entire forum =P

The gurthalak weapon proc does a considerable amount of dps, it can total from 5 to 10% of your total dps (at least that's the range I've noticed) so if you do for example 40k dps on ultraxion, it should add an extra 2k - 4k dps. I remember that at the start of the patch there were a few complaints about the weapon proc not hitting Ultraxion, but somebody found out that if you stand close to the edge of the platform your tentacle should be spawning. I don't know if this has been fixed, but I just stand at the edge to guarantee I get the proc hitting.

EDIT: I just checked your armory, and I can tell you that you are slightly above your hit cap and slightly below your expertise soft-cap. Also you have 3 red gems on your belt, but you can get the same amount of strength + 20 hit rating if you use an etched demonseye gem on the blue socket, you will get the 20 str bonus.

I suggest for reforge optimization that you use wowreforge.com, it's a very accurate way of maximizing your better secondary stats and getting precise caps.

In your case, you'll be better off with the following reforges (this is without the etched demonseye gem on the belt):

Necklace of Black Dragon's Teeth 75 hit → mastery
Backbreaker Spaulders No reforge
Rockhide Bracers 63 mastery → hit
Colossal Dragonplate Gauntlets 88 hit → exp
Demonbone Waistguard 88 mastery → hit
Ring of Torn Flesh 71 mastery → exp

I had been using mr. robot for reforging for a long while now. I will try that one. When you used it, what did you use for the third stat? As for the expertise, from what I remember reading during Wotlk and even seeing some warriors now, 25 expertise was ok. When it comes to the log, I no longer know if the sword proc actually did hit Ultraxion or not now because WoL doesn't list it.
