i just won the trinket and im a bit thorn, i think i remember reading somewhere that dmc is still better (indeed all that mastery and the proc is hard to give up), what do?
what about destro? i suppose it could be an upgrade since mastery isnt really that great

For both specs DMC:V > VPLC, especially as Demo. Heroic VLPC > DMC:V, however.

not sure if VPLC values are currently correct in Simcraft, but still current difference between them is ~30 dps in favor of Dmc:V.

If you are strungling with phase 3 i believe the blackrock caverns trinket is still viable
(very badly informed guess here so don't hate me if i'm wrong)

it's from lost city, and it's called Sorrowsong.
Also, @carbonrod, VPLC is better than dmc:v for affli. Actually to the point where it's VPLC hc, VPLC n, RoZ, then I belive dmc:v is fourth. It's being incorrectly simmed.
