    Wireless problems

ISP is Virgin and I'm using their crappy Superhub.

Wireless is really unreliable one minute it's downloading files fine, next minute I may as well be on dial-up
    .

On my pc I get 5Mbps (Speedtest.net) 1000ms home latency and 10000 world latency and on my mac which is barely 2ft away I get 50ms home and 200 ms world, my pc is on 802.11g and my mac on 802.11n

I've since connected the ethernet and I'm getting good, high bandwidth - 30Mbps (again Speedtest) and low latency, similar to what my mac is.

Is it because I'm using an 802.11g PCI card? Should I upgrade to an n? Or just called the Virgin and get them to sort it?
    1) Load the amount of weight I would deadlift onto the bench
    2) Unrack
    3) Crank out 15 reps
    4) Be ashamed of constantly skipping leg day

Your pc isn't going anywhere, so just keep it connected to the lan :P
If the radiance of a thousand suns were to burst at once into the sky, that would be like the splendor of the Mighty One... now I am become Death, the Destroyer of Worlds.
