Suggestions to LAN games!(Suggest your games here!)

    Hi guys

I'm about to go to a LAN with my friends, and last time it kinda felt like we ran out of games to play..

So since there's a lot having work/school off this week and might go to some LANs, i wanted to make this thread for you guys and others felt like going!

So i'll start listing mines for others!

SWAT 4(a lot of load time tho)
    CS(all the Counter-strike games basically)
World of Warcraft(other warcraft games too)
World of Tanks(This was a lot more fun than i thought!)

And as sad as it may sound this is all i can remember for now....

    TL;DR(lol)
List games you find good to play at LANs with friends around you.

world of warcraft is hard to play on a lan because they all need a account with isn't free. and you need a internet connection.
same for world of tanks except thats free but still need a internet connection.

i found d2 alot of fun on lan and just make new chars and play till the end

When it should be a strategy game, definetly try Stronghold 2, Stronghold Crusader or Cossacks : Back To War - at the beginning they are all a little hard to understand because of the complexity they offer. But when you understand how to play these games they are all very enjoyable and even more enjoyable in LAN mode. Sometimes i play them over Hamachi with friends from other countries and its realy fun

    Warcraft 3!

Warlock - Awesome game that involves a lot of skills, fun even after hours of playing and will make everyone scream during those really close fights!
WOW Arena - It's world of warcraft arena in warcraft 3. Not as serious and still fun even for those that never liked pvp.
Pokemon Defense - This is awesome if you play with a lot of people! I once got stuck playing this with a friend of mine and didn't leave the game for 8 hours, looked at the time and it was about an hour before school started (I hate time QQ).
DOTA - Don't need to explain why
1000+ Tower Defense games, minigame games & short RPGs! - Warcraft 3 might be old but it's still the best game for LANs!

I used to play at lan cafes years ago with a bunch of friends and we primarily played CS/DoD and other shooters (I remember BF2 and BF 2142 as well). So much more fun when you can talk shit to each other in the same room or get called a hacker by some random playing in the same room as you.

Starcraft and Warcraft III were fun as hell.

Oh yeah, and some L4D, that's hilarious at a lan.

TF2 or Borderlands are solid choices. Duno if L4D1/2 are LANable but those are awesome too.
