Raid Leader addons

hi there,
I was wondering if you can recommend me an essential set of addons that RL would use. I used to do my job without them but I'm sure there is a room for improvement.
The three addons I'm most interested in are:
- the one that announces in /ra or /rw setting up mage table, healthstone, wrong aspect/aura (I also saw someone broadcasting tanks and healers)
- (not sure if this one exists even) an addon that checks the whole raid for buffs. starting from food/flasks to raid wide class buffs
- something to ease master looter's job maybe (not really sure about this one)

any help with those guys?

One of my officers uses this, will ask what the name of it is.

Try XLoot Masterlooter, sorts the menu on MLing by class instead of group.

1. Know what addon you are talking about but can't for the life of me remember what it's called.

2. BigBrother http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-a...g-brother.aspx will do that for you.

3. Xloot is really nice. It will lets you sort ppl in the raid by class and not group making it eaiser

Other addons you may want to look at:

oRA3 will let you assign tanks check resistance and what % ppls gear is on, note though everyone in the raid needs to have this addon for it to work.

PugLax will make trash a bit easier as it lets you easily assign ppl to marks

What's the addon called for those raid markers that you can put on the floor?
Our RL can't seem to enable his raid frames and get those markers, so if there's an addon for that, would be awesome.

sometimes another addon will block it just like the "real" way to do it

Maybe Vision Boss Mods, as alot of settings, one is the annoying ML reminder

And personally I like VBM over DBM or BW

I don't need more. oh yeah and I think I _will_ use opie world marker (posted above) and I DO use http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-a...get-icons.aspx for marking people/NPCs.

Raid Buff Status - makes BigBrother look like a toy.
Ghost: Recon - records all pertinent boss info and abilities than can then be linked back into raid chat.
DBM or DXE - boss mods w/ timers!

raid buff status (rbs) is probably the one your looking for, its the best addon for all you need to know info, it tells you whose missing what buff, who isn't buffing, missing flasks and buff food, it tells you who broke cc, and who is md, says when a table is out, warlock cookies, and repair bots, even tells you when they're going to expire! it is an addon that i love and that i would never go with out.

I'll pitch in for RBS. It's awesome - announces repair bots, soul wells, mage tables, feasts and checks for buffs of any relevance: Hunter forgot to turn on a proper Aspect? Paladins got duplicate Auras? Shaman not got temp. weapon enchant? Someone slacking on food buffs? Pretty handy little piece of work. The UI window is really nice as well, in my opinion.

And it can announce non-tank CC-breaking! As an MT RL, I find this way awesome.

If you don't want to use the XLoot lootframe replacement just to get a better-sorted ML list, try the addon MasterLoot

Yes, it hasn't been updated in 2 years, but it didn't throw any errors when I loaded it today - however, I haven't used it as an actual MasterLooter, so YMMV.

As been said, RaidBuffStatus is a very nice one to have.

I personally also recommend Raid Roll, which tracks rolls made on loot announced through raid warnings, and can also Raid Roll by assigning everyone a number and then using /roll.
Useful because we're all familiar with the issue that the raid order isn't the same for everyone. (If you roll 5 the last person from Group 1 wins the loot, which isn't the same character for everyone and then they go like QQ.)

Magic Looter is also useful for Master Looting, it sorts the dropdown menu by Class rather than Group, and you can assign a person to auto-loot greens/blues to (for disenchanting).
