Anyone else experiencing and fps drop with the new patch?

    hi folks,

when i logged on yesterday and downloaded the new patch content, and then started playing, i experienced an significant fps drop in comparison with before i've downloaded the new patch.
So i was forced to decrease my in-game video settings in order to keep the gameplay as smooth as possible.

Anyone else having the same issues?
Is there a new driver i need to install or it's just a temporary problem?

I'm going to take a wild guess and say that you use the addon SLDataText.

Go into the config, go to the clock module and disable it. Blizz changed an API call for the clock and it's causing severe slowdown if you leave it turned on.

You, sir, just saved my day.
Been spammed by BugGrabber since the patch, couldn't figure out why. This did the trick. Thanks for sharing!

Myself and my guild were having major issues with connections and FPS during Heroic Maloriak last night. People who tend to run 30+ FPS were down to 10 FPS or so, even had some like myself dipping below 5. Unfortunately we couldn't find anything more than temporary fixes, but we got it down on the last attempt of the night at least

Does it stop when you turn off ALL addons?
