hunter's overlooked when it came to crafted belts?

Does anyone know if we are getting a gem slot on our crafted belts since we are currently the only class that doesnt have it? I know they said they were adding the slots to the crafted chest (which is crappy) but they didn't do it in 4.0.6. Has anyone seen anything about this? I've been re-reading blue posts and cant find anything.

even with a belt buckle we'd have 1 slot and all other classes would have 2 slots. doesnt really make sense

I think the hunter/enh sham chest piece is missing a socket as well while the healing one has one.

This situation seems to apply to all Agility based craftables, leather and mail (so Ferals and Rogues are SOL too). Kind of frustrating, yes, but the question is how much were stats reduced on the items that received the new gem socket?

Also how do you think that we think that all the loot belong to hunters ?? we can't equip shields or plate armor.

I really hope they will update our crafted chestpiece + belt with a red gem socket.

I opened a ticket ingame about lw agility crafted epics lacking sockets post-4.0.6 and was reassured by a live gm that they were looking into it.

Settle down, spaz. The point being made is that all of the ilvl 359 leatherworking AGI gear got overlooked.

It's a common (and very old) joke that all loot belongs to hunters because of their ability to benefit from a wide variety of gear. Throughout the history of the game, hunters have been most commonly observed as the class that soaks up the most gear because of this.

With the 4.0.6 changes MM hunters (and possibly BM hunters, we'll see) are poised to be ONCE AGAIN, the top DPSers. You guys have been the best dpsing class MANY times in the past and have had some of the longest runs of it (thinking naxx days). While there is ALWAYS going to be QQ from every class about something that isn't fair to them, you guys are going to be top dps, don't whine about not having an extra slot in your belt. Maybe they left it out purposely to try and bring your dps down a few points? Just let it be, worry about the bigger issues and don't clog up the comment box (as it were) with stuff like this.

Rhaide, did you bother to read anything but the OP? Any player that wears 359 crafted agility gear right now is NOT getting the benefit of the socket. This includes hunters, rogues, feral druids, and enhancement shaman.

What floors me is that you're posting as if the hunters are demanding a buff via the socket. When Blizzard changed the crafted gear to include socket bonuses, they removed some of the white stats to compensate. The socket is not intended to throw out the balance across ilvl 359 equipment, it serves as a method by which one can customize their gear further, which allows a player to play how they like. If player A likes haste and player B likes crit, they can socket that haste gem or that crit gem and build their own unique set of equipment.

well, he says that hunters is the ONLY class that misses out on a extra socket, wich is not the case.
