What do you mean? More resilience will not lead to bigger shields, but I believe your shields hold longer, since the damage they absorb is lowered by resilience.

The 4 set bonus is really, really good, and probably worth a lot more than the extra resilience.

    Shield scales with mastery.

4 set is just to good to pass up on.

I've heard shields are unaffected by armor (ie, the damage you take goes to absorb, so it doesn't reduce it by armor), but assume they would be affected by resil reduction like you are saying... do you know this for sure?

4 set bonus > the extra resilience.

With just little help from your partners peeling, (One frost nova) or an intercept etc you can shield and get away from most melee. (Still getting screwed by DK's though /weeee

In a way yes, the bubble does scale with resil as you get reduced damage however spell power and mastery is what increases how much it actually absorbs - 4 set mooncloth is the best for any priest as holy walk gives us the mobility we need.

Do you have a source? Seems to diminish shields on tanks quite a bit since heroic bosses hit me for... a lot...in cloth and even I have like 10% armor reduction. I don't doubt it, I just think that is silly and would like to read :x

Absorb effects apply after damage reduction effects, including armor. If the damage of an attack is partially resisted or reduced by another effect such as Renewed Hope, this will lower the amount of damage remaining to be absorbed and allow a shield to last longer.

This means that our shields "scale" with both resilience and armor.
