Random ZA/Zg

I'm just trying to see if anyone else has this problem. We specific queue into Zul'aman each day, and then when we try to queue for a random to get it again we get ZG over, and over, and over again. Yesterday we got 8 ZG queue's after 1 successful bear run. Today we specific queued into ZA, had a server crash screw us, and since then we have gotten 3 ZG randoms. Are any other people having this problem or are we extremely unlucky? It seems nearly impossible to random for ZA with a pre-set 5 man guild group.

yep its that way so not everyone in a set grp can get bears just so people can stop running the heroics altogether

Bad luck imo. We randomly queued being saved to both ZA and ZG and got ZA 3 times.

I'm mostly directing this at people who also have 5 guildies, or at least a ore-set group, it seems to be just fine for people solo queueing.

Were you guys using 5 guildies or 5 people from your server?

Doesn't the random dungeon finder prioritize ones that you're not saved to? I don't think it'll make that 0% probability for choosing the one you're saved to but it definitely increases the chance to get those to which you aren't.

No idea, but maybe it prioritizes ZG until you're also saved to that? I'd try killing first boss there, so you have a lock to it too, then go back to random queueing.

We're all saved to ZG and have been. We just got our 5th ZG in a row, awaiting a 6th+....

No, because the experience would be worse than pug'ing the 4 kindergartners.

Haha sounds amazing. I think that this would only be an issue with groups of people trying to farm bear runs in the thing. Queueing randomly with pugs may be different.

I haven't tried it myself, but I know of a group of 5 ppl on my server who managed to do get ZA 5 times out of 7, getting all of them bear mounts.

remember that LFD pairs you with other players.

If you que for random, and the system puts you with a player who selected a dungeon... you will get that player's selected dungeon.


If someone is fishing for a specific item, you may see a good number of one dungeon over the other.. I am not well versed in the two, but I thought ZG had an extra boss or two that might be attractive (as well as some weapons people might want)

And again, completely unconfirmed since wowhead isn't up to date yet.. Isn't jindo the only boss with multiple weapons? I don't recall seeing a weapon in the 2 ZA runs I did so far.
