    Streaming from a console?(PS3)

    Hey guys,

Well I'm sat here next to my computer playing on my PS3 and was wondering "how nice it would be, to be able to stream live from my ps3 on xfire"
Now I'm sure this is possible but the thing is, I'm no computer person nor do I know about cable's or software etc etc, you get my drift.
So could anybody clarify that it can actually be done and what would you need to stream live video's from a console.
Also if you do reply and you have knowledge of this, could you tell me how much I would be looking at to spend in total?

    Thanks in advance!

    Quick googling says no.
    Because ten billion
    years' time is so fragile
    so ephemeral…
    it arouses such a
    bittersweet,
    almost heartbreaking fondness.

you can't do it on xfire but you can do it through other services like justintv and getting a happauge hd pvr. But that is no cheap solution :P
CPU: I7 920 Ram: 6 GB Corsair Dominator GT
GFX: GTX 295 MB: Gigabyte X58A-UD3R
HD: 40 GB Intel SSD & 1 TB Caviar Black
    Others: Chip PS2 - PS3 Slim - Xbox 360 Slim - Wii - PSP 2000

there are cheaper solutions like a dazzle. the happauge just happens to be the most expensive.

Iv been looking into the dazzle capture card for some time now as I was just going to record and upload, but I wasn't aware that you could use it fro streaming also, is there anything else that you have to get other than the capture card? I'm aware of the few cables you need "1 to 2" but other than that anything else isn't in my knowledge
