will this stuff make a decent cpu?

Im on a 700 dollar budget and im wondering if this stuff is compatible, and if it will make a decent gaming pc? alot of stuff.

Rosewill CHALLENGER Black Gaming ATX Mid Tower Computer Case, comes with Three Fans-1x Front Blue LED 120mm Fan, 1x Top 140mm Fan, 1x Rear 120mm Fan, option Fans-2x Side 120mm Fan $50

    Seagate Barracuda ST31000524AS 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive $60

Is that enough power supply, and with that extra fan will it stay cool enough? Sorry i dont know much about cpus so this is my first time building one. Also do i have everything i need? After mail in rebates it comes out to $635. I forgot to list a motherboard i think so ill list this

Without commenting one the general composition of the pc, you have listed triple channel memory, which is only used for the last gen of i7 cpus (Socket 1366). Everything else is compatible. You'll be happy with the build, but its not 100% the best choice for your money. Check out Fuzzy's thread http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/...pot-quot-Build . He really knows what he's talking about, and he would probably have responded to your thread already, but he's probably asleep.

You'll see a lot of hate for AMD these days.. They haven't pushed out a new line of cpus in a while. Their new line, "Bulldozer" has been pushed to Q4 of this year. Until then, the safe bet is to go with Intel's Sandy Bridge lineup
