Once you pull Onyxia you have 30-40 seconds before he lands. Meaning the encounter length is 10:30-10:40.

There is no soft enrage in P3 either. As long as you don't over kite the adds in P3 you will never have more than 2/3 of the outer circle covered in fire.

No. Shadowblaze's cooldown caps out at 10 seconds, which happens about 3 minutes after P3 begins. There is more than enough room and it despawns quickly enough to kite forever. If there wasn't, heroic mode would be impossible as you're in phase 3 for a good 7 minutes. He has an enrage timer of 10 minutes after he lands, or about 10:32 from when you pull Onyxia.
