    Question Interrupt Macro Help

    Hey Guys,

    I've got a blood elf protection paladin and I'm trying to creat a macro that allows me to use an interrupt ith one key press (so that each ability activates one at a time in a cycle). The abilities I want to use are Rebuke, Hammer of Justice and Arcane Torrent. Currently though when I use the macro it activates all abilities at once; below is the macro I've created and I hope someone can show me where I'm going wrong if what I want with this macro is even possible.

    /cast Rebuke
    /cast Hammmer of Justice
    /cast Arcane Torrent

    Thanks for any help

    Not possible. The macro system works on a one-key-press-per-ability functionality. Honestly, none of that is a good idea of PvP. When to interrupt is subjective, and a simple macro won't make it easier for you. I would suggest that each is a keybind that's easy to reach, though. For example, I use:

    F = Rebuke
    Q = HoJ
    T = Arcane Torrent

    All three are very easy for me to press at any given time, and because they're all separate binds I don't need to rely on a castsequence macro.

    ^That.

    Also, you don't want HoJ and Rebuke on the same button. Sure they can both be used for interrupts, but HoJ is much too useful to be pigeonholed into a "Lazy" macro.

    Yeah WoW's macro system has been changed a lot to stop stuff like that.

    Unless you're playing in Rift so that you can just put all your spells in priority and spam one key..

    Thinking about a little more (This seems to work in my head but I can't test it) is if you put those three in a /castrandom if that still works, then just spam the button? not sure if any are off GCD so you might risk accidentally using two.

    Thanks for the information, I'll stick to the way I'm doing things currently.
