Does Blizzard track gold trading automatically?

Especially for 10k+

Or even 100k+

I want to trade 150k gold to my friend and quit WoW but I'm afraid they'll think I sold the gold or something.

I've heard of people mistakenly getting their account locked or whatever for this, all of you have to do is explain to them the situation, and blizzard will fix the problem.

making a ticket would be a better idea but I do think they track it, though I imagine it would only raise real suspicion if you were doing the trade using an account of low lvl chars or something equally odd.

I had believed that i had compromised my system, so in the meantime I mailed 150k to a friend for safekeeping while i cleaned out the system. I got a 3 day autoban. Found out, Its part of their security that any large xfer of funds and such results in a temp ban. Weird huh.
