Has there been any information on the cut off for 'early access' working without a CD

As the title says, to cut a long story short, I will be going on holiday on the 20th (thankgod for early access) so I wont get my CD key till after new year.

Does anyone know if they are going to allow you to continue playing without entering your CD Key on launch day (I know it sounds abit fishy since people could be playing the game without even buying it).

I would guess it would cut off on Launch Day but have we had this info?

Generally after a early launch you will be required to enter your retail CD key into your account to continue to play. But this is not confirmed for SWTOR so its anyone's guess.

Not to sound too harsh, but finding this answer literally took me 15 seconds and one google search. I typed in "swtor grace period" and there were answers in like the first 5 links. I do believe there are forum rules that prohibit starting threads to ask questions that are easily answered. Most of this information can be found/asked about in the main thread.

Regardless, for the sake of answering the question, the official responses are thus:
There will be a period after launch day in which those who have pre-ordered will be able to continue playing before entering their Game Code. More information on this will be made available closer to launch.
I will say that Early Game Access for each territory will end on launch day for each territory, and the grace period will then start.
We'll have more information on our launch plans soon.

There are multiple moving parts, so I'd ask you to be patient while we get details finalized.

Not to sound harsh but these are forums and every single piece of information is in the master thread so the only threads we create are random offtopic swtor stuff? and yes after finding those quotes I looked at the date on them and its well over a month ago, and it clearly states this will be made available closer to launch. We are closer to launch.

But im guessing this information still isnt released. Thanks.

^ Herp derp I'm posting in this thread with nothing of intelligence to say so I'll just say something I think is witty and hope someone laughs. Stop trying to derail the thread, it's bad enough.

I don't see what more needs to be said really, They said you get a grace period. So unless you feel like you need an exact number like 5 days or 1 week... It doesn't really matter.
I am of the personal opinion that anything over 3-5 days is overkill. That gives people time to get their late shipments from sites like Amazon who don't always have the means to ship products readily for launch day.

It is pretty normal for a game without a Cd key to NOT allow you to play.

I literally can't find an MMO that you buy that will let you do that.

this game has to though because you already get early game access, which as you know will allow everyone who pre-ordered to play without a CD-key in the first place. They just have to decide when to "switch" that feature off.

Well with the launch so close to Christmas, and all the shipping delays that occur due to the holiday I can see the grace period lasting until the the end of the month or maybe even until January 2nd or 3rd. I would seriously doubt that the grace period would last past the 3rd of January.
