    Bad FPS in starcraft 2

    Hello guys.Here is my spec:
    Intel i5 2500k 3.30 ghz
    Gtx 560ti 1gb
    4 GB RAM
    Windows 7 64 bit.
I've heard people saying they can run starcraft 2 on extreme settings with 60 fps with worse pcs than mine.My problem is that I have very long loading times in single player, and sometimes when there are many things on the screen the fps may drop to as low as 20,all of this on extreme settings. The pc is still relatively new and it has always been this way.Is there any way to improve my performance?

Long loading times points initially to a faulty or starting to fail hard drive, however, You don't happen to have the nvidia control panel overriding graphic settings do you?

You should see if you're having heating problems with your comp when you play. My laptop did the same thing and was clocking high temps during sc2 causing fps to drop. Theres programs you can get to moniter gpu temp so you can see if heating is the issue.
