    Question Expert Keypads

I'm looking into 'Expert Keypads like the Razer Nostromo.

Are they any good and what options are there?

I only know of two. The Logitech G13, and the Razer Nostromo, which is a re-branded Logitech G13. These are gimmicky, and I wouldn't advise them, but to each their own.

    Ehhm...

Belkin's n52te Nostromo was the first of those one-handed gaming keyboards, Razer bought the rights to make it from Belkin and the Razer Nostromo is currently third revision of the hardware. Logitech G13 has much better build quality and it's totally different from the old and new Nostromo, but thumb stick on it is worse.

Both can be totally awesome in use, and would recommend trying 'em out in a store. I've had Logitech G13 for nearly three years now, and if it would break tomorrow, I'd get new one to replace it instantly.

Been using G13 for like 2 years and couldn't live without. Its hard to make the switch from traditional keyboard but its awesome when you get used to it.

The n52 ( both the Belkin and the razer since both are basically the same ) are great , but dunno why the G13 fells better after some time using it.

I wasn't at all disappointed when I saw the first Razer N52 ripoff and found that's it's basically THE SAME as the n52 , you can put them side by side , the n52 isn't black...

The G13 fells more robust to me , and as I'v said after some hours of extensive gaming while on wor... TESTING .. testing it , the G13 felt better. In fact when ppl pm you , you can actually get pissed for them making you take your hand of the G13 ( make a " GO TO VENT/TS " macro )

Sadly I don't have one @ home since it's a little too expensive, but I have clients that say the n52 is actually better than the Razor and others that swear Razor is the best thing ever, I can tell you that overall most prefer the G13 but I can't say if it's better or me being biased. So my advise is to go to a shop and try to get a fell for it , check them out live and see how you adjust to it and if you like/dislike some construction material choices.

This, while completely true, is also true in the opposite direction.
Last week I was at my dad's place, and I didn't bring any gear. I installed WoW on his PC and I couldn't do anything because I didn't have my beloved G13 with me. Heck even moving with WASD (ZQSD where I'm at, AZERTY noob here) felt uncomfortable.
