Every time i log in, my resolution is 800x600

As the title says, everytime i log in, the resolution of my game has changed to 800x600..

Does anyone have any idea what's wrong? :/

Are you running as Administrator? If not, it might have problems saving your setting data.

I have the same problem but it's not actually 800x600 the settings just say that number, I'm actually still on 1920x1080. Are you sure you aren't on your actual resolution?

You're in windowed mode, windowed mode automatically uses your desktop resolution regardless of ingame settings.

Few things to check

1) Are you running it as Administrator?
2) Is the directory WoW is installed in Read Only?
3) Are you running Window Mode with a Desktop Resolution of 800x600
4) When exiting the game do you hit escape choose quit game, or do you force it to quit (ie ALT-F4) if you force it to quit it will not save any configuration changes.

I am running windowed mode, though my desktop resolution is 1920x1080..

I don't think my wow is installed in read only, because it seems kinda random if it starts with 800x600.. I opened it just now, and i ran fin with 1920x1080 from the beginning.. weird :P I didn't run it as administrator just now, or before.

When i close my game i hit escape and click quit game.

run it as administrator once at least if you are using winows 7.
sometimes that issue pops up.

run as admin, change the resolution, exit game.
setting should sdtick

Happened to me too a couple times after DL'ing the 64bit client, It only happened 2-3 times though, now it opens at the correct resolution

Same when i first run the 64bit client - windowed(full screen) mode showed as 800x600.

Options, set back to 1680x1050, all went fine.
