For Sandy Bridge + Asus mainboard owners, you can adjust CPU voltage a third way in addition to Manual and Offset Mode. In the CPU Power Management sub-menu is a setting for Additional Turbo Voltage. Basically this is an offset that only gets applied to turbo multipliers and it works great in conjunction with the normal Offset Mode and higher LLC options.
For example, to achieve 5GHz (w/HT off), I'm looking for 1.432V under load with Ultra High LLC. For my particular board this can be achieved a couple of ways.
Offset Mode of +0.065V results in 1.432V load and 1.064V idle.
Offset Mode of -0.035V and Additional Turbo Voltage of +0.136V results in 1.432V load and 0.976V idle.
Additional voltages needn't be messed with, but some people do bring them down slightly to reduce overall component temperatures. I see no issue with running the following settings:

Yeah I overslept a bit, then went out to lunch before stopping the threads. I'm actually experimenting with a 5GHz OC now, but HyperThreading is disabled.
