    Pigs as Pets.

Yesterday I saw a guy having a pig on leash. I couldn't believe my eyes, but funny part is that the pig was well trained and friendly to other people and dogs.

Anyone here have a pig as pet? Or consider having one?

Haven't had any myself, but seen lots of folks with them when I was still living in the countryside. Seen both, the dwarfkind and regular swine as well, and pigs make excellent pet since it's peoplefriendly and smart as heck.

Pigs are really intelligent animals as far as I know, so as far as training goes they are suiteable pets, but you wouldn't be able to have one in an urban area, not practical enough imo, not sure if it would be legal either.
The nerve is called the "nerve of awareness". You cant dissect it. Its a current that runs up the center of your spine. I dont know if any of you have sat down, crossed your legs, smoked DMT, and watch what happens... but what happens to me is this big thing goes RRRRRRRRRAAAAAWWW! up my spine and flashes in my brain... well apparently thats whats going to happen if I do this stuff...

In the UK you need a special license to keep them in an urban setting, they are very strict on the criteria. Much easier to get a dog.

My uncle used to have a small pot bellied pig as a house pet, he was awesome. They make good pets and as others have said quite intelligent so can be well trained.

My neighbor had a pet pig and it was really cute and friendly but it was also quite gross. I'm not saying this to be gross or anything, but when a dog has an accident in your house, it's usually not the end of the world. When a pig has an accident in your house...oh my god it's disgusting.

Actually, a pet pig, if taken care of properly, is no dirtier than a dog.

Then again, some dogs are disgusting.

Micro Pigs? Yeah they're pretty cute. My old boss used to bang on about wanting one.
