Dual Spec is not coming in 1.2

    https://mobile.twitter.com/SWTOR/sta...59745000206336

So people don't become confused, 1.2 will introduce a great many things but dual spec is not one of them

So many people are gonna complain about this I guess.

Personally makes no difference, My Sentinel is a Watchman and always will be, my Tanks is a Tank and my Assassin is Deception. All Dual-Spec to me means is that Healers can do dailies without massing up a 100k respec twice a day by the end of the week.

The changes are amazing. People need to chill out but they will raise hell about the things not put in rather than realize all the amazing changes.

LFG is 1.3, that was said in the Summit. Dual spec or as I heard it a "tri" spec is coming, but not in 1.2.

Sad panda... I find healing fun on my Sorc but questing with it is horridly dull. So I stay DPS and cry myself to sleep every night until they implement it. :[

Fixed that for you cause it's not just useless here, it's useless everywhere.

On topic. I want my dual/tri-spec cause I'm a tank. Yeah, sure, I have a pretty easy time with dailies(when I bother) but it's slow. That's not my main complaint though. Main complaint, which they are designing future raids to avoid this issue anyway, is that a lot of bosses in OPs only require one tank. Either myself or our other tank usually feel quite useless on these fights and I would love to be able to go DPS for the fight. As it is one of us either sits or is sub-optimal. If I am tank, I wanna go to every fight so I get the shot at the gear, not ever be asked to sit cause I'm a tank.

People have different priorities and what they wish to see in the game. Personally, while 1.2 has a lot of great things, the two I was most looking forward to were the group finder and dual spec, and neither will be included in 1.2. Call it "raising hell" if you want but they are what I was really looking forward to. The notes on the group finder give me a pause though, since they said that they will make it server-only and yet it will also include heroic missions. While that's all cool, I am concerned about the queue times.

As it is now, even on a healthy and well populated server like mine, it is often difficult to find people for flashpoints and heroic missions, at least on the levels prior to 50. I'm sure a lot of people will be pleased that it is server-only but it might result in long queue times.

At least you have something now, I'm sure people questing would probably like to do the FP's as a break from questing, but would rather quest than go back to the fleet to look for people and stop gaining exp.

Eh, dual spec would be nice, but since I normally run as DPS and only switch to/from tank when I'm needed in an Op, I don't see much of a change.

Really I only personally see a benefit to multi-spec for pvp, so I can force pull the shit out of those damn healers. It gets way too expensive to respec every time I go pvp.

Definitely, it's the most frustrating thing because you can queue for WZs while questing but you can't do the same with FPs.

The only thing Zerowashywahy does it try to shit on SWTOR, look at his post history. He doesnt play anymore, yet still tries to rile people up. Same goes with vizzle.

Dont worry what they say imo.

I don't any more either. After awhile it become rather meaningless to debate with them since they've had their peace and you've had yours and somehow they're sado masochist enough to still come on these forums and post away. Having said that I still wan't dual spec in as soon as possible. 1.2 has so much crap to keep me busy I'm not to worried about it but 1.3 should be awesome as well.

I really, really wanted to believe 1.2 would fix their game...oh well. I'll be back when their game catches up to where Rift was last year and where WoW was two or three years ago...

I play. I have about twelve days left on my sub. So sorry to burst your hate fest, but forums are to discuss what people like, dislike, and want from their games. If you do not like my posts feel free to skip over them. Thank you.

    a) I wanted dual spec, so I follow every bioware source on it.
    b) I wanted lfg.
    c) so I will not be subbed till then once the current sub expires, feel free to rejoice

I was a little disappointed at that news, but it is nothing that will make me quit.

To this date I have not respec'd once nor found the need to. It will just bring some convenience to when someone needs a healer , but otherwise I would just stay in the same spec, however if they have a tri=spec option that would be great, I would love to have a healing spec , gunnary and assault spec and switch accordingly.

LFD is meh, I would be more useful for leveling then it would be at 50. I have already run the gamut of HM FP's since it is easier to run OP's in most cases, whether or not is stays like that when they introduce the next teir... remains to be seen.

Aside for the cost of the respec, the main thing with dual spec for me was the action bar setups. Hopping over to respec and set up the tree wasn't bad, but then finding the changed abilities or priorities.
