Xbox live connection issue

Ok for the past several weeks my xbox keeps disconnecting from xbox live for no apparent reason. I reconnect like nothing happened, and it happens again. Then I test the connection, and you know what... IT WORKS! Then the next day it repeats. My internet connection is perfectly fine but does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

Its somthing on your end, Your router, cable, Modem.

I had something happen to me just like this, very strange. Before I changed internet providers I had always used this netgear wireless router to connect with a regular everyday modem and it worked just fine. I changed providers and the modem they gave also had its own router built in and i still continued to use the netgear router i always had and I had the exact same issue. I connected to my modems wireless connection and I have yet to disconnect again. Long story short its your router and or modem(most likely) lol.
