Online multiplayer games

Hello, me and a group of friends have been playing WoW and LoL but we are getting rather bored. We are looking for some suggestions for good online multiplayer games, just something abit different from wow and lol, thanks

Diablo 3 is set to release in 3 weeks on the 15th, however you can go to battle.net and participate in the open beta to try it out now. I believe the open beta ends later tonight.

Free MMOs like EQ1/2 are good fun to mess around in with buddies if you're not looking to incur a cost at all (no game to buy, no monthly fee unless you want perks but meh to perks). Definitely my favorite part, of EQ1 at least, is that it rewards you for having more players whereas modern MMOs the leveling process with friends seems to be slower. I.e. all the mobs in EQ1 are elite and you kill faster with friends. XP sharing caps at 5 players but there is a 6th slot that you might as well fill because xp is still shared 5 ways.

As the poster above mentioned you've got Diablo 3 coming out, but don't forget about diablo 2 and even 1 if graphics aren't a concern. Both good coop games to run through.

You could give Terraria a try if you don't mind the graphics and playstyle. It's a neat game that gets fun when you have more people playing.

If you like strategy game you could try SC2.
