Gathering mats now, but:

Over the last 2 days I've gathered all the mats that are needed for Inscription 1-525. Now I wonder if suck a "kit" is still useable come MoP, or that the mats will change due to glyphs changing. Anyone who could help me out with this question?

The mats wont change lvling 1-525, that would not make sense. The herbs will still mill into the same stuff and the lvl apprioriate stuff with take the same stuff as before

Id generally say get the inks you currently need, not the herbs, as this will save alot of space bag wise, and as the above poster said, the mats should be the same 1-525 unless they make it easier to level the professions to the current cap, like they have done before, decreasing mat costs slightly.

remember that they usually make a new xpac recipe(s) that you can start using early (I'd guess a 500 skill pattern - ex not needed titanium to level blacksmith, just switch to obsidian patterns; lw probably benefits most since they always make it rough on mats for them), and the amount of mats needed might be greatly reduced compared to those last 25 points on current content prof leveling, especially if you are gathering and not buying off ah.

If you are waiting for MoP to level that might be something to take into consideration, but, if you have the mats now, why not just level it now?

I imagine its for their upcoming Monk class, so gathering mats now to powerlevel a crafting profession isn't all that a bad idea, however the profession might not even need all the current mats to level it come MoP.

That's exactly what I'm gonig to do when i got the needed amount of herbs r3d3mpt10n, and I can better have leftover mats than too few :P

I just finished doing this the other day for my monk. Except I farmed out 1-525 JC/BS xD
