So I just got home with my new headset, got it all wired in correctly(double checked), I can hear myself in the headset talking into the mic(don't care much for it), but I can't get any audio into ventrilo or sound recorder. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Im assuming its using optical output, need to change the output in vent / system sound, the mic you need to mute it via the turtlebeach advanced editor you download.
