wait for geforce 660 ti?

is it worth waiting for the geforce 660 ti? i was thinking of putting together a pc with a gtx 670 (either gigabyte or asus).

mainly want to play blizzard games at 1920 x 1200 resolution on ultra settings. (a little overkill is OK)


thoughts? opinions?

It will likely be out before MoP, so if you aren't in a hurry it can't hurt to wait.

Depends if there are any major games coming our prior to the 660 Ti launch that you'll be missing out on.

It will probably be another month before we see the cards hit retailers. Preliminary pricing has them set at 300 USD.

Afaik you'll pretty much get what you pay for if you buy a 670 or a 660 Ti. One costs about 100 dollars less but also offers less performance. It's really up to you.

yeah im just wondering how much less performance it will actually be compared to a gtx 670

If you don't need the performance right now I don't see a reason why you can't wait. From the looks of it the GTX 660Ti will be a pretty good card, but if it isn't up to your standard then just get a GTX 670 or a Radeon 7870/7950.
