MoP Shadow Priest Racial

In mob all the talents have a increase to damage somewhere, Trolls:Beserking, Orcs:Pet Dmg, Goblins:1% Haste ect...
I personally like blood Elf priest, but since i want to min max for progression think it would be to OP to have Arcane Torrent give a Shadow Orb since it restores resources from energy to Dk Runic power and Energy?

if anything troll/gob/undead is the best, undead if its still a 40% proc chance for 20k free dmg.

I think the OP is suggesting that the belf racial SHOULD give a shadow orb, which would be silly as you'd need to be able to "offer" other classes something similar (1 holy power for paladins etc)

Shadow Orbs aren't a primary resource, so it's never going to happen. They don't restore warlock shards or combat points for rogues either, it makes no sense.

People are reporting it as being anywhere from 0.5 - ~1% of total damage done on a fight - so if it goes live like that then for shadow it's very, very good. Few other racials give a flat out damage increase on the order of up to 1%.

Just an FYI, but becoming 10% better at your class and macros (avoiding fire) is probably 10000% better than a class difference.

Yes, but doing nothing different other then changing race will be a increase, albeit small, a increase.

Forsaken are probably one of the better ones now, with their new racial. Especially if it scales with your shadow orb shadow damage buff thing makes it scale.

You don't get any shadow damage from shadow orb buff thing in beta.
It does scale with shadowform, as far as I know.
