    Techpowerup does a big test of Windows 8 gaming performance.

    Haven't read it yet but I think people will find it interesting so I'm just gonna leave the link here for now.

    Yeah I don't see any of the performance increase in gaming that people talked about, it looks pretty even and if there is a difference it is to Windows 7 advantage.

    So basically there is no real world difference between the two?

    Yeah I don't see any of the performance increase in gaming that people talked about, it looks pretty even and if there is a difference it is to Windows 7 advantage.
    And if there is no difference, that is an advantage for Windows 7, if only because you already have it installed.

    On the contrary, it's an advantage for Win8 because of all other improvements it has.
