I know this can turn into a flame war but it made me laugh as I was making it. My intention is not to make a flame war, but I'd just like to see someone prove me wrong

I mean I was getting out healed by a resto druid in almost the same gear as me in LFR, he was doing roughly 20-30% of healing, when I was doing about 9%.

Pre-patch it used to be the opposite.

I mean just looking at the mana cost to mana pool ratios for resto druids it seems way to low.

The ratios can't change that much though can they? This kind of changes were not made to balance any where, just a thought

This isn't like before, characters have set mana pools & set costs for spells, the only thing that can change is actually amount it will heal, which I didn't bring up.

I'm playing a holy paladin but been siding as resto shaman from time to time. Resto shaman is just a joke right now to me as it always has been, still chain heal spam with healing rain...I won't judge, holy paladin is no different.

I know this is going to bring alot of hate that holy paladins were gods in the beginning of cataclysm but I just think its a little unbalanced for mana cost ratios. Either bump other specs down for mana cost or bring resto druids up. I haven't raided on beta yet as I didn't want to ruin the leveling experience to much, but I assume its the same. I'll watch some streams when its up again

Its not balanced for 85 any longer, for instance was on my resto shaman and couldnt outheal a ret paladin because his mana never dropped below 90%.

Yes. Yes they honestly can. You'd be surprised by how much can change with 5-10 levels and a couple more abilities.
