    Changes to IA - As early as Patch 1.11

    There have been some legitimate complaints about the queue system currently utilized in IA's, and how on occasion the groups can be broken up by zone (i.e, 5 players in scarwood reach and 2-3 in Silverwood, for example), with groups being topped up at 15.

    Well, our lovely, ever active devs, have proposed a new solution and aim to make changes to the system as early as 1.11 - I leave you with their own words.

    "There isn't a real reason for them to be in groups as small as 5. Them topping out at 15 as someone else mentioned above IS an issue that comes out of something we tried with random queueing that just didn't pan out as we had hoped.

    The good news is that the current choices for how to join IA is being scrapped, and we are replacing it - probably for 1.11. Among the changes, we are removing the barrier of needing to manually go out to a zone and manually mentor down to join a particular IA. We are returning to to the zone list and letting you select and join individual zone IAs from the IA window.

    When this gets up on the PTS (I do not have an ETA on that), I would be VERY interested in feedback on it."

    i hate how the IA is now.... never understand the reason why we should run to tthe place we want to do IAs

    Yep, it's the SL intro patch, like WoW 5.0 or whatever.

    There has been some interesting discussion on the forums on incorporating IA more into the game world (for example, via guild quests, or objectives in world events) one poster suggested something I really liked, a stacking bonus to IA XP gain that accumulates the longer the duration of your stay in an IA group.
