Just bought myself this, a hue rgb led controller :P
The led strips are really awesome and loads of different colours.
Where'd you find the LED strips actually? Because that sounds like something real cool to have.
http://www.komplett.no/k/ki.aspx?sku=770693 2M LED strip included.

Yeah seriously.
Shave 1GB off of that and I'm pretty sure we're fairly similar. I believe we do 700 minutes because none of us talk on the cell phones that much anymore. :P I think my Dad is still shelling out over $200 a month to AT&T though...

Wow $33 for some lights? lolnothanks
Probably around next week, I shall at last have a good reason to post an update in Post Your Gaming Setup!
The things I'm getting are mostly trivial (cables, but nice high quality cables) however I am also getting that dual monitor stand that will hook to the back of my desk, and open up TONS of desk space - thank God! Been working to come up with the money and finally did.
Will be ordering:
10ft Premium 3.5mm Stereo Male to 2RCA Male 22AWG Cable (Gold Plated) - Black (Might up this to 15 feet... just to have that option available, say I want to put my speakers with my drumset for a day, for my little performances I do on occasion for friends.)
6ft 28AWG CL2 Dual Link DVI-D Cable - Black (Thus finally moving myself away from any analog video cables and potentially giving me the option to overclock my Acer S211HL if I deem it something I would like to go through with.)
3-Way Adjustable Tilting DUAL Desk Mount Bracket for LCD LED (Max 33Lbs, 10~23inch) - Black
6ft USB 3.0 A Male to A Female Extension 28/24AWG Cable (Gold Plated) (The USB 3.0 cable that my E-HDD came with is about 6 inches long and barely makes it to the USB 3.0 port on the back of my computer... This isn't okay with me. I want to have the E-HDD snug and comfortable on a shelf of my desk or something.)
Thanks to Cyanotical for showing me www.monoprice.com !

What is your cost equivalent?
Hugs for all! Not gonna say I'm drunk, but definitely not sober.
You guys do realize that the single-LED-strip version of that costs $13 USD right? You don't get to change colors but it still gives you the option of 3 brightness settings and the ability to turn it off completely. Costs peanuts.
^ Been using that for around ~8 months now, looks great.

However, that doesn't have the kind of freedom that people seem to be looking for.
