Why don't they use the Namekian dragonballs to wish back Goku and the others. That's what I'm wondering.

If the machine in the Tournament saga is accurate, he has a powerlevel of 137.

Chances are, the initial android attack wiped out a lot of technology. If the ships they used to reach Namek the first time were damaged or destroyed, they didn't have any other way of reaching Namek within a year to use the Dragon Balls. And Future Trunks was just a baby at the time, of course he was dumb.
I really like the fact that Bils doesn't seem like just another villain trying to destroy/conquer the world... He's a very odd fellow and tbh he has the potential to join the Z team if there is a new series coming up like ppl seem to speculate
From his backstory, it seems like he is considered a "Necessary Evil". Basically he destroys stuff so the Kais can make new stuff. Of course, he doesn't really seem to care what he destroys. I don't see him joining the Z team, but I can see them convincing him to stop trying to destroy Earth.
That's just the feeling I got from reading the synopsis on kanzenshuu :P he just seems like a cool dude He's not doing shit because of stupid ambition or raw evil... although he does like to stay true to his word, which is why he wants to destroy the earth(because he said he will xD). He's just very impulsive...
Also who knows, he might at least just help Goku and Vegeta train, maybe ask them to come to his place and recieve training from Uis... heck some other god of destruction might want to be the only one in existence, and knowing that he can't handle him on his own he seeks help from goku&vegeta...
Or, the strongest god of destruction destroys his universe and the other gods of destruction don't agree since they shouldn't destroy the whole universe just parts of it so they go and try to kill him... but he kills some of them, of which bils, and Uis comes to earth and asks the warriors for help or else all universes will be destroyed... luckily the God threatening the universes also has too sleep for a while to replenish his lost power after destroying his universe and killing bils so that gives them just enough time to train the warriors

He kind of makes me think of a combination of the main timeline's Android 17 and Kid Buu. Incredibly destructive, but also just in it for fun.
i saw the video earlier......... bills can dance like a mofo!
only way i can still find it

video also has heavy spoilers
Hah, just watched that video and yeah, sooo much talk about "the next dimension!" lolol. If you watch through some of those episodes with Dedoria, Freiza and Zarbon (forgive any incorrect spelling), I remember Dedoria frying two Namekian children (two of three, the third one was Dende) and then a scene later saying they were lucky that they got away (even though it showed their BBQ'd corpses for a split second before that). The Ocean dub was pretty funny back then. x3
They have one year to wish them back after then die or they run out of time. Can Bulma, within a year, single highhandedly build a spaceship in a world with a completely destroyed infrastructure? That's a pretty big feat. Where is she going to get all these materials refined and build the thing? Where can she do research? Where can she even reference old info without an internet or libraries? Keep in mind her dad was the one to build the original, she cannot fly and has no help. Where can she get tools and reinvent the ones she will surely need to build this one of a kind ship? On top of all that have time to run for your life from psychotic androids, taking care of your baby son while grieving over your dead lover and best friends.
My point is she could not have built a spaceship within one year of the planet getting purged and the Z-fighters dieing. Capsule Coorp was obviously in a major city which would of got wrecked right away. Her only bet was the time machine and patience. Having a spaceship would have of served little purpose once the one year deadline to wish the fighters and all the people killed back passed. Also the dragonballs would not have been able to bring Goku back anyway since he died of a sickness and without him the whole plan is shit. They can't wish the andriods away or Gero either because you can't wish away someone stronger the the creator of the balls which they all are.
Edit: Typing that first paragraph out like that made me just realize how boss future Bulma is.

The generalist looks outward; he looks for living principles, knowing full well that such principles change, that they develop. It is to the characteristics of change itself that the mentat-generalist must look. There can be no permanent catalogue of such change, no handbook or manual. You must look at it with as few preconceptions as possible, asking yourself, "Now what is this thing doing?" -Children of Dune
The dragon ball wikia doesn't make it clear whether or not the Namekian balls have a time limit, but I'm pretty sure they are still unable to bring back Goku due to his natural death. There is still the issue of making the ship, finding New Namek, traveling there, wishing back the others, and hoping the Androids don't kill them again while you travel back to Earth. I also assume the Hyperbolic Time Chamber is probably inaccessible due to the lack of guardian, or that the lookout may have been destroyed since it's a known haven for the Z fighters.
