Few things i've heard which i've been trying is that using your own body weight is better than using any machines or lifting actual weights like doing squats, crunches, push ups etc.
I've been on a calorie counter since I started that my mum put me onto MyFitness Pal now I also heard that eating more actually helps you lose weight for example I have 1700 calories a day I am allowed to eat based on my height, weight and age so i'm not going to starve myself to try lose weight I want to reach that 1700 or get close to it which is what i'm currently doing and I was actually shocked when I was first doing this calorie counter thing because trying to reach that 1700 while eating healthy foods is actually quite hard.
