im currently stuck on both the darkmoon rep and the ravenholdt rep, the toon im doing this on is a night elf druid although i have a rogue for the lockpicking, 2 actually lol... was wondering if anyone knew or knew of a site that lists exactly how many junkboxes for ravenholdt and how many decks for darkmoon faire one needs.

also aside from guild perks are there any non racial rep perks out there that i could use to kinda ease the grind? not that the grind is driving me insane or anything *twitch *

decks? just do the dailies and the monthly quests at the faire and you'll hit exalted in no time. I don't remember the lockbox number, it was around 1300 or something like that.

well there is that darkmoon faire buff that increase your rep gain by 10%. it's avaible this week.

I followed this guide and got all my reps done in 3 weeks time.
(allthought it took me 3 faires of DMF (aka 3 months) to complete that rep)
Ravenholdt is just braindead farming and emailing of boxes till you ding exalted..

Darkmoon Faire is just daily grind.
As for Ravenholdt, you can do the math by yourself like i did, without looking for sites (something you should look up, however, is the fastest farming route).

I'm trying to get the achievement at the moment, too. I've grinded DMF to exalted before it was changed, but never bothered to really continue with the stuff - until now.
I already failed miserably a few days ago when I farmed almost half the lockboxes before I noticed that they can't be sold over the neutral AH - so I had to fill my pockets with them and transfer 2 chars over ^^"

Now that DMF is up, you can save yourself a bit of time because of the 10% rep buff, so it might be a good idea to farm them now.

Yes make sure you get the DMF buff from the carousel/hat (they don't stack). Also there are two holiday events that give a reputation bonus - one is the Hallow's End one you get from clicking the ash around the burning man, the other is Pilgrim's Bounty from getting a 5-stack of every type of food. I don't know whether or not they stack with the DMF buff though. But of course you have to wait until the holidays are on.

It's something in the region of 1,400 lockboxes. I was constantly re-calculating in my head every time I dropped off a big load to keep myself amused. My advice: listen to music or watch TV or do something else that you can do while your hands perform mindless repetitive tasks.

I did the DMF reputation back when you could only do deck handins, it wasn't nearly as bad as people made out - I crafted a bunch of decks but then I realised a far easier way was just buy decks on the AH slowly over the course of the month when DMF was closed, hand em all in when it opened and sell the trinkets when the price seemed good. Think I actually wound up making a bit of gold. But yeah, you don't need to do any of that now, just do all the dailies and monthlies.

Yeah, Insane really isn't all that insane anymore. Was a damn pain in the ass back in WotLK. I used to love looting cards when I first started the game and just thought they were awesome.

Now? I never want to see a fucking deck again!
